June 2007 2007 June reportThe 2007 season is underway and the fishing has been great! We have been seeing a nice average size to our walleyes, and the reef bite is just starting to get going. We have already landed several trophy size walleyes and we are looking forward for the big fish bite in July. Both the northern pike and muskies have been active, and we have caught good numbers of pike with several in the 20# range and lots of muskies. The big one so far is 52 inches. The smallmouth have been giving us some good action as well; 50 a day is not unusual with plenty of 3 pounders showing up. Comments
